Geoffrey Hall, whose Nan, Mum and Uncle came from the Isle of Dogs, and his sister also lived on the Island with his parents in Seysell St for a few years in the early 1950’s. His Nan, Barbara Clark, nee Bowyer was rehoused after the war in a prefab on Glengall Grove before being rehoused in the new flats in Hedley House.
Geoffrey’s family left the Island but he has fond memories of returning to visit his nan until she sadly passed away in 1971.
