Lawrence spent his childhood in a pre-fab, between 1948 and 1955. It was part of a small group called, rather grandly, the Stratford Estate, on the outskirts of Rainham, Kent.
Through a process of elimination we identified Lawrence’s prefab as the American UK100 type.
