It is number 419 Wake Green Road. The “utility room” has been created out of part of the original bathroom and is equipped for a washing machine. As you can see the “bathroom” now has a shower. The original toilet room has been incorporated into the bath/shower room.
It seems that nine of the 17 have been refurbished and it looks as if the exteriors have all been attended to with fresh paint, new fences, gates etc.

The external cladding is fabricated from asbestos cement, however the panels have been encapsulated with paint since they were manufactured in 1945-8, periodically over the years and recently when undergoing restoration.
My husband lived in a prefab with his parents in Northampton. They were knocked down about 1976 there abouts.
Are they still made of asbestos ? x
