Arcon MkV in Algiers, North Africa

This photo is of my late father Leslie Hocken taken outside a sample Arcon MkV prefab sent to Algiers for the troops to view. My father was in the BFPO (British Forces Post Office). Have no photo date but assume 1945/6. My father said the troops were shown what was being built back in UK to aid rehoused after WW2 bombing. On his return he and my mother lived opposite the prefab estate on New North Road, Hainault.
