The first photograph depicts Jonathan’s grandparents, the Cliffords, who lived in a prefab at 11 Munster Square until 1956 when the prefabs were demolished. Grandfather Clifford worked as a railwayman at St Pancras station, and was injured in a bombing raid there. He was an excellent gardener and grew roses, dahlias and vegetables in his prefab garden. In the second photo he is shown with the Duchess of Gloucester who came to inspect his vegetable plot.

Many thanks to Jonathan and his mum Sylvia for the photographs and information.
