Cornish three-storey blocks of flats in River View, Putson, Hereford

There are six Cornish three-storey blocks of flats at River View, Putson, on the edge of the River Wye. There is a total of 66 flats and road access is off Putson Avenue which is lined with Hawksley BL8 prefabs. The exteriors of the blocks of flats show signs of lack of regular maintenance.

There is currently (2020) a proposal by Connexus Housing Group to demolish all six blocks and redevelop the site with ‘affordable housing’, ‘high specification’ apartments with balconies overlooking the river, or a mix of both.
