Whilst archiving some family pictures I came across these two which sent me off on a hunt for other pictures from the same time and I came across your site with a picture taken from higher up Hind Grove.
The picture above shows the prefab with me (centre) clasping my hands together. I would have just turned two years old as I was born on June 5th 1951.
The picture below shows my family, grandfather Austin Cronley, in hat against wall, myself, Bill Pritchard in hat at table (centre), my mother Mary Pritchard (nee Cronley), my grandmother, Emily (nee Sullivan) behind my mum’s left shoulder. This was taken outside our home at 43 Hind Grove, Poplar. There is no house to the left of ours as it was bombed during the war and our wall was held up by some wooden flying buttresses. Sadly I am unable to add any more names.
